What is lipomatic liposuction ?

Liposuction is one of the most common body aesthetic operations in the world. Since the results are very impressive, it is an operation that is increasingly favored by both men and women. Despite healthy diet and regular exercise, certain body parts (pelvis, waist, abdomen, etc.) where you can not get rid of the fat, liposuction may be a good solution. A wide range of different application techniques are available: conventional lipo, laser lipo and ultrasound lipo are some of them. One of the newest technologies developed in this field is "Lipomatic".

What is a lipomatic ?

Lipomatic is a state-of-the-art, FDA-approved device designed to increase the comfort of patients and doctors in liposuction. By the three-dimensional vibration movement of the cannula , infrasonic (less than 20 Hz) waves are generated, which produce a natural anesthesia in the body during and after surgery . With the vibration movement, it is possible to break down the fats and easily remove them, without damaging the surrounding tissue (blood vessels and nerves). Thus, the frequency of bruising and pain after surgery is extremely reduced. The advantages of the infrasonic liposuction method over the classical and ultrasonic liposuction methods can be summarized as follows:

-At your request and with the consent of your doctor, fats obtained during surgery may be injected into the face or breast tissue. This process is called Lipofilling (fat filling) . -The vibrating cannula tip automatically stops when it touches a tissue other than fatty tissue. This eliminates the risk of damage to the surrounding tissue and internal injuries .

Because of all these features, the lipomatic (infrasonic liposuction) method is more and more preferred. This procedure is performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia according to the size of the area used .After every treatments under general anesthesia , you should spend that night in the hospital. The patients are discharged next day and may turn to their own social life in a couple of days after , for wide field applications, this period varies between 7 and 10 days. The patient should wear an elastic corset for 20 days. Although the thinning of the body is noticeable immediately after the operation, the thinning continues for days and takes its final shape after 2-3 months .

Liposuction is not used for weight loss. It is used to correct body contours by removing unwanted fat masses . But as a general information , 2 to 5 liters of fat are removed at once . Depending on the patient's structure, it may up to 10-12 liters of fat can be extracted. The results are pleasing and satisfactory .
